With fewer than three weeks to go before the deadline, all liquor licence holders are again reminded of the Friday, 19 August, deadline for submitting applications to the Liquor Licensing Board. Because premises must be inspected as part of the renewals application, licence holders are urged to begin the process now, if they haven't done so already. Only complete renewal applications, accompanied with inspection certificates or proof of inspection requests, which are submitted by 19 August will be heard at the Liquor Licensing Board's annual session on 30 September. While application forms and guidelines have been e-mailed to all liquor licence holders, they also are available on the Department of Commerce and Investment's website, www.dci.gov.ky. If a person needs further assistance, they may call the Liquor Licensing Board's Acting Secretary Gavin Dixon on 244-3167 or DCI's Shelise Jeffery on 244-2202.
