This year has brought many changes and in keeping with that theme, the government of Alberta introduced significant amendments to the Insurance Act through Bill 41, the Insurance (Enhancing Driver Affordability and Care) Amendment Act, 2020 on Oct. 29.

In addition, new orders-in-council enacted changes to the Minor Injury Regulation, Diagnostic and Treatment Protocols Regulation and Automobile Accident Insurance Benefits Regulation, among others, effective Nov. 1.
