According to the amendment, the Construction Authorities may impose a fine of between Sk 500 thousand to 2 million on a legal or physical person carrying on business activities and who:

  • Supplied products for a construction activity which do not meet quality standards.
  • Changes the construction activities without permission or not in accordance with permission which is received.

In addition, the Construction Authorities may impose a fine of between Sk 2 and 5 million on a person who undertakes construction without permission or in contradiction with permission received.

The amendment became effective from 1 September 1997.
