San Francisco – January 12, 2022 – Cooley advised venture capital firm Soma Capital on the closing of Soma Capital Fund III at $412 million. Shane Goudey and Katelyn Kimber led the Cooley team advising Soma Capital.
Soma Capital will use Fund III to continue its stage- and sector-agnostic investing in unicorn and startup software companies around the world.
Founded in 2015, Soma Capital has invested seed money in hundreds of software companies valued at more than $60 billion combined, including 17 unicorns that have raised more than $15 billion after Soma's seed investments.
