Chapman Tripp has won the New Zealand Contentious Firm of the Year Award 2019 at the Managing IP Asia-Pacific Awards.

Chapman Tripp Partner Matt Sumpter said, "Being recognised by industry experts and peers for our innovative and strategic approach to IP disputes is a great honour.

"The Managing IP Awards are among the most prestigious in the IP market and we are delighted to have taken out this award.

"Our goal is to continue to be the 'go to' firm for all contentious IP matters in New Zealand. Our team has extensive expertise both in contentious and non-contentious IP: this combination gives us a unique ability to deliver innovative solutions for our clients," Sumpter added.

Presented in Hong Kong last night, the awards recognise the top IP practitioners and firms and celebrate legal innovation across the most significant and challenging IP work in the Asia Pacific region.
