Carey has helped Banco Santander Chile renew a customer loyalty scheme with LATAM Airlines for another seven years.

LATAM Airlines hired Claro & Cía. Latin Lawyer understands independent practitioner Oscar Luis Infante also advised the bank, but this could not be confirmed prior to publication. The deal closed on 26 December.

The venture between Santander Chile, the country's largest bank and LATAM Airlines, the largest airline in Latin America, allows the bank's customers to accumulate air miles when they use their credit or debit card.

The new agreement also updates the programme's compliance structure, aligning it with Chile's latest banking and aviation industry standards.
