As from 1 February 2019, the documents as listed in the annex of Circular 19/708 can only be transmitted to the CSSF by electronic means.

As from 1 February 2019, the documents as listed in the annex of Circular 19/708 can only be transmitted to the CSSF by electronic means.

The Circular also provides more details on the procedures to be followed for the electronic transmission to the CSSF of documents and the secured electronic means that are accepted by the CSSF.

The Circular applies to Luxembourg undertakings for collective investment under the 2010 Law, SIFs under the 2007 Law and extends the scope of application of the electronic transmission of documents to securitization undertakings under the Law of 2004, to pension funds under the 2005 Law, to SICARs and to investment fund managers under the laws of 2010 and 2013.

The Circular 19/708 abrogates CSSF circulars 08/371 and 09/423.
