20 December 2016- The Labuan Financial Services Authority (Labuan FSA) entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sabah Economic Development and Investment Authority (SEDIA) recently to foster greater co-operation in mutually beneficial fields.

The MoU sets out the framework for co-operation in developing new areas of synergy and strategic alliance through for specific projects in the context of investment in Sabah Development Corridor through Labuan International Business Financial Centre to further enhance business and investment opportunity. The MoU also provides avenue for mutual assistance in expertise, research and development and joint promotional activities.

The MoU was signed by the Director-General of Labuan FSA, Datuk Ahmad Hizzad Baharuddin and the Chief Executive/President of SEDIA, Datuk Dr. Mohd Yaakub Hj. Johari.
