Federal Reserve Bank of New York ("NY Fed") President and CEO William C. Dudley will retire in "mid-2018."

Mr. Dudley has been with the NY Fed since 2007. He began his tenure there as executive vice president and head of the Markets Group. He was first appointed NY Fed President and CEO in 2009 in order to serve out the remainder of his predecessor's term, and subsequently was appointed for a full term in 2011 and reappointed in 2016.

The NY Fed is expected to name a successor to Mr. Dudley prior to his retirement next year.
