Moment #7: the Northeast Clean Energy Council (NECEC)

One of my favorites was breakfast with Hemant Taneja to explore my idea of forming a trade association to support the new clean energy industry (similar to biotech). He and I brought together the leading entrepreneurs and investors for a dinner ten years ago. Half the participants said it couldn't be done and bowed out. The other half of us formed what is now known as the Northeast Clean Energy Council, the leading organization of its type in the nation. It's been an incredible run.
