The CFTC requested comment on proposed amendments that apply to reports to be filed by futures commission merchants ("FCMs"), swap dealers ("SDs") and major swap participants ("MSPs"). The solicitation of comment was published in the Federal Register.

The proposed amendments would: (i) increase the amount of time registrants have to file their chief compliance officer ("CCO") annual reports; and (ii) clarify the timing of the filing requirements applicable to SDs and MSPs located in jurisdictions for which the CFTC has granted a comparability determination with respect to the contents of the reports.

Comments on the proposed amendments must be submitted by September 12, 2016.
