Scott Woldow, a partner in the trademark practice in the firm's Washington, D.C. office, presented to the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) on behalf of the International Trademark Association a Mini-Seminar on Hot Topics in Trademark Prosecution. Mr. Woldow's topic was "Post Registration Issues." The seminar occurred on November 4 and included the Commissioner of Trademarks, Assistant Commissioner of Trademarks and senior management and government officials of the USPTO.

Woldow specializes in counseling clients with regard to intellectual property matters, prosecuting applications to register trademarks and service marks worldwide, maintenance of existing trademark and service mark registrations worldwide, trademark clearance opinions, advice concerning infringement, opposition and cancellation issues, representation of clients before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, consent agreements, settlement agreements and intellectual property litigation.
