Michael Sweet was quoted in the CNN Money article "Judge Orders Detroit to Withdraw Bankruptcy Filing." While the full text can be found in the July 19, 2013, issue of CNN Money, a synopsis is noted below.

While it is unclear if a state judge can legally order a party in a federal case to drop that action, Michael Sweet noted, "Obviously there are constitutional issues. Anyone who thought this case would be resolved quickly was sorely mistaken. There is too much at stake for too many people. Clearly the gloves are coming off."
