As covered in a prior post, the California agency responsible for approving institutions to provide Veterans funds to students, the California State Approving Agency (CSAAVE), has issued a notice of proposed rulemaking that could have far reaching effects on California institutions.  The comment period was originally set to close on March 9, but CSAAVE extended the comment period due to the agency's failure to provide the rulemaking documents on its website.  CSAAVE will now accept comments on the proposed changes until March 16.

We encourage institutions currently approved by CSAAVE to carefully review the proposed rule and submit comments as directed by 5:00 PM PST on March 16.  This is a proposal where informed public comment could really make a difference. Please see our prior post and feel free to contact any of us to discuss the particulars.
