Click here to read the information belatedly posted by USDOT on Tuesday night, specifying the functions that each of its component agencies (FAA, FMCSA, FRA, FTA, MarAd, PHMSA, STB, etc.*) will and will not perform for the duration of the governmental shut-down. As you will see, each agency is different. For example, FMCSA is largely unaffected for now, while the STB is shut down almost completely. Outside USDOT, the Federal Maritime Commission (not to be confused with MarAd) is completely shut down, while the Transportation Security Administration (a part of the Department of Homeland Security) will largely operate as usual.

Note: Before you print, be aware that this is a 33-page file.
