Market
JSA's annual Contractor Expectation
Survey has found that more than 60% of the
UK's IT contractors expect their salaries to
increase by between 5-10% in 2008.

market is threatening jobs within the sector with
property recruitment consultants reporting that staff
hirings have stopped in many areas.

According to research by Unity Personnel
many employers are no longer interested in seeing the
interests section of applicants' CVs
and are instead asking for these to be removed.

industry specific job board called Your Retail Jobs on
16 January, with plans for a second industry specific job board
to launch in August 2008.

deal part funded by the Royal Bank of Scotland.

Hays have reported a 23% growth in
group net fees in the quarter ended December 31 from
the same period the previous year.

37.6% rise in fourth quarter profits to
