June 27, 2018 - Canada's immigration department has reduced the period of time an application for permanent residence must be submitted following receipt of an ITA from 90 days to 60 days.

June 26, 2018 – Canada's immigration department has cut the permanent resident application window to 60 days after receiving an Express Entry Invitation to Apply (ITA).

Candidates previously had 90 days to submit their applications. The window was increased from 60 to 90 days as part of Express Entry changes in November 2016.

But a June 26, 2018 announcement on the federal government website has reverted the window to 60 days.
