There are three ways in which a company may be treated for tax purposes in Guernsey:

  • As a normal income tax company.
  • As an exempt company.
  • As an international company.

In addition to the specific treatments available to exempt companies and international companies concessional tax treatments are available to bank, fund management companies and certain other types of business.
