The changes discussed above are part of the rush of activity we've seen around the world over the last five to seven years. At least 17 countries and two international organizations have introduced or updated their green advertising provisions (sometimes product or issue specific) since 20051. These have certainly influenced the way green claims are being made in the marketplace these days, although not so much that we can't still find a LOT of cases to tell you about in our next article "Green Cases Around the World".
