The Brazilian Telecommunications Agency has published a bid notice for exploration rights of four geosynchronous satellites, at the minimum price of R$27,094,271.64 per satellite, for a 15-year term, renewable once.

The Brazilian Telecommunications Agency (Agência Nacional de Telecomunicações - ANATEL) has published a bid notice for exploration rights of four geosynchronous satellites, at the minimum price of R$27,094,271.64 per satellite, for a 15-year term, renewable once.

On May 19, 2015, bidders must present their habilitation and identification documents and their respective proposals on a public session.

On May 26, 2015, there will be a second public session for the disclosure, analysis and judgment of the proposals, when bidders may increase the amounts of their original proposals. The winner will be the bidder that offers the highest price for the acquisition of exploration rights. Each bidder may acquire up to two rights of exploration. Affiliated companies or controlling/controlled companies will not be allowed to jointly acquire more than two rights of exploration.
