On 1-2 November, the island will host another big blockchain event namely the Malta Blockchain Summit organised by Sigma. The event will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel in St. Julian's and will feature an expo floor, hackathon, ICO pitch and speakers from around the world discussing the potential applications of blockchain as well as AI, Big Data, Quantum Technology and IoT. Dr Leonard Bonello, partner heading the Blockchain and Fintech team at the firm, will join a panel discussion about banking and cryptocurrencies on the second day of the conference.
