Ward and Smith is pleased to share that Chrystal D. Bradshaw has been appointed to serve on the Association of Legal Administrators (ALA) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility (DEIA) Advisory Council for the 2026–2028 leadership term.
The DEIA Advisory Council is part of ALA’s international leadership structure and plays a key role in advancing equity, inclusion, and accessibility across the organization’s committees, projects, and initiatives. As a council member, Chrystal will collaborate with fellow volunteers, staff, and board leadership to provide guidance and perspective that helps ensure DEIA principles are reflected throughout ALA’s work.
Chrystal’s appointment reflects her ongoing commitment to inclusive leadership, service, and thoughtful engagement within the profession. Her term will officially begin at the ALA Annual Conference and Expo in 2026, with preparatory leadership activities beginning earlier in the year.
