Kevin J. Hermanson is the co-managing partner for the Walnut Creek office of Lewis Brisbois and a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
Mr. Hermanson started his career as a litigator and trial attorney in 2005. Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Hermanson was employed as a claims adjuster before and throughout law school. Since launching his legal career in 2005, Mr. Hermanson became an equity partner with a defense firm in 2008, and in 2010 facilitated the opening of the first Northern California staff counsel operation for Progressive Insurance Co. Mr. Hermanson served as the managing attorney for Progressive's Northern California staff counsel operation until 2015, at which point he excelled his career in the years following at Nationwide and Liberty Mutual.
Mr. Hermanson specializes in high-exposure catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, including commercial and personal lines. He has successfully defended dozens of jury trials, binding arbitrations, and bench trials to verdict. All of Mr. Hermanson's jury trials have been first chair, and all have resulted in favorable verdicts for his clients.
Kara Wild is a partner in Lewis Brisbois' Walnut Creek office. Ms. Wild has extensive experience representing clients in a variety of complex actions, including personal injury, construction defect actions, actions involving violations of homeowners' association governing documents, premises liability, easement disputes, breaches of contract, and landlord-tenant disputes, among others. Her clients range from individuals to multi-national corporations. With every case, Ms. Wild prides herself on a thorough, practical approach, attentiveness to clients, and getting the best result possible.
In addition, Ms. Wild has assumed numerous leadership roles in the legal community. In 2024, she served as the President of the Queen's Bench Bar Association of San Francisco, one of the oldest women's bar associations on the West Coast, and in 2025 as President of the Queen's Bench Foundation.
