Düsseldorf, 11 December 2025 — McDermott Will & Schulte has advised German biomethane producer biogeen on the acquisition of biofuel filling station operator SEFE Mobility from international energy company SEFE Securing Energy for Europe.
The acquisition of SEFE Mobility will add more than 50 BioCNG and BioLNG filling stations in Germany and the Czech Republic to biogeen's portfolio. The closing of the transaction is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
SEFE Mobility, based in Berlin, operates more than 50 renewable biofuel filling stations in Germany and the Czech Republic.
Headquartered in Münster, Germany, biogeen is one of Germany's leading biomethane producers and operates 48 modern biogas plants across Germany to generate climate-friendly, regional and reliable energy. biogeen has been a portfolio company of Partners Group since 2023.
