Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright today announces the elevation of 20 special counsel and 17 senior associates, in a reflection of the deep and diverse pool of talent across Australia and Indonesia. From the total of 37 appointments, 31 or 83.8 per cent are female.

The promotions are in the antitrust and competition; banking and finance; corporate, M&A and securities; dispute resolution and litigation; employment and labour; intellectual property; real estate; knowledge; and corporate social responsibility teams in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney and our associate office in Jakarta, TNB & Partners. Fifteen of the 17 new senior associates are women, as are 16 of the 20 new special counsel.

Norton Rose Fulbright managing partner in Australia Wayne Spanner commented:

"We are fortunate as a business to have such talented individuals to promote across all our Australian offices, as well as in Indonesia. My partners and I have been proud to have watched these new senior associates and special counsel develop their careers. It is especially rewarding to see so many strong female candidates come through the ranks, which is also a testament to our career development, mentoring and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
