Entertainment partner Ramela Ohanian was selected for Variety's 2024 Women's Impact Report. This prestigious list honors "the women who worked the best deals for clients and their companies," according to Variety.
Ohanian was recognized as one of the entertainment industry's top dealmakers, noted for helping clients navigate a business that is constantly evolving.
"Over the last year, networks are prioritizing flexibility, building provisions into their agreements to account for a variety of distribution channels, such as streaming and theatrical releases," said Ohanian to Variety. She also pointed out that there's a heightened focus on the global market and that social media plays a key role in today's entertainment industry.
This year, Ohanian represented social media giant Meta on the launch of AI chatbots embodying cultural icons, celebrities and influencers. She also handled talent agreements and negotiations for various campaigns and sponsorship deals on behalf of Meta.
Ohanian and all of the Women's Impact Report honorees will be celebrated during Variety's Power of Women dinner held in Los Angeles on October 24.
