David Bulley, Managing Partner of Appleby in Hong Kong and Mainland China, has been named as Cayman Islands M&A Lawyer of the Year for the 6th year running by Lawyer Monthly, a news and monthly legal publication which focuses on legal news from around the world.
The award follows another extremely busy year for the Appleby Hong Kong and Shanghai M&A teams across mid-market and jumbo deals, including acting for Ascendent Capital Partners on the acquisition of Hollysys Automation Technologies and the Special Committee of PropertyGuru in connection with the sale of the company in addition to acting on deals across the TMT, Pharmaceutical, Consumer and Retail sectors and in multiple de-SPAC transactions.
