Fifteen months today – October 17, 2014 – is the deadline for continuing under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act. Remember that organizations governed by the Canada Corporations Act that are required to continue by the deadline and do not continue may be dissolved. The continuance process has to be approved by members so plan accordingly as there is only one cycle of AGMs left before the CNCA continuance deadline.
