Singapore Privacy

To meet rising concerns in Information Technology, it has been reported in the local press that the Malaysian Government has recently set up an Internet Security Committee to safeguard government websites against hackers. Other positive steps include the appointment of a Chief Information Officer at every Ministry, federal and state secretary’s office to oversee government websites and a special unit under the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Planning to create and implement IT security measures, all towards ensuring the accuracy of and instilling public trust in government information.
