On November 9, 2015, a Belgian Tribunal ordered a social media company to cease
recording the internet navigation habits of Belgian web users and
issued a €250,000 fine for each day of noncompliance. The
Privacy Commission also issued a press release (source document in French)

contact group composed of the Belgian, Dutch, French, and Spanish

requesting the company to comply with this judgment throughout the
