Federal Trade Commission ("FTC") Commissioner Maureen K. Ohlhausen left the agency upon the expiration of her term as commissioner.

Ms. Ohlhausen began serving as FTC Commissioner in 2012, and served as Acting FTC Chair from January 25, 2017 to May 1, 2018. During her tenure, Ms. Ohlhausen focused on safeguarding consumer privacy and data security.

President Donald J. Trump nominated Ms. Ohlhausen to a seat on the United States Court of Federal Claims for a term of fifteen years.

Christine Wilson will begin a seven year term as commissioner on September 26, 2018.
