The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC") published an updated version of the "Change in Bank Control" booklet of the Comptroller's Licensing Manual.

The booklet provides guidance for persons who intend to acquire control of a national bank or federal savings association. These persons are required to file a "Notice of Change in Control" form ("notice") with the OCC in order to receive approval. The booklet provides interested persons with (i) an overview of evaluatory criteria and considerations that the OCC takes into account when reviewing a notice of change, (ii) timeframes for submitting the notice, and (iii) technical requirements for the notice, in addition to other relevant information.
