On July 28, 2017, the Financial Stability Oversight Council will meet to discuss (i) U.S. Treasury Department recommendations regarding the Volcker Rule (see also " Regulatory Agencies to Review Volcker Rule Provisions for Foreign Funds"), (ii) a report on the annual reevaluation of the designation of a nonbank financial company, and (iii) pending litigation by MetLife challenging its "systemically important" designation.

The meeting will be held in closed session.
