The Office of the Comptroller of the Currency ("OCC")
published an updated version of the
"Branch Closings" booklet of the Comptroller's Licensing
Manual.
The booklet provides guidance on filing and notice requirements
for branch closings at national banks and federal savings
associations. The updated booklet, which replaces the previous
version that was published in April 2003, incorporates
revised OCC regulations and updated procedures instituted after
the Office of Thrift Supervision was integrated into the OCC.
