On April 27, 2017, Manager of the U.S. Entrepreneurs and Investors Division Matthew Galati was quoted in  "Fate of Visa Program Faces 'Many Known Unknowns,'" printed in Bloomberg ​BNA. Published last week while the prospects for the EB-5 Regional Center extension and statutory reforms were unknown, Matt opined on the interplay of political tensions which could have resulted in a lapse, as well as the industry's previous experiences with Regional Center sunset dates. Matt also discussed ongoing uncertainty with respect to the Proposed EB-5 Modernization Rule, which was promulgated in the final days of the Obama Administration.
