MUFG Investor Services, the global asset servicing group of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, entered into an agreement with Guggenheim Investments, the global asset management and investment advisory business of Guggenheim Partners. MUFG Investor Services will acquire Rydex Fund Services, Guggenheim's 1940-Act mutual fund administration business. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2016.
