CFPB Solicits Further Comment On Proposed Periodic Statement Forms For Consumers In Bankruptcy

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ("CFPB")
seeks further comment on a proposed report summarizing consumer
tests of sample periodic form statements that must be provided by
servicers to mortgage borrowers in bankruptcy.
The CFPB noted that it already has received comments on the
merits of other parts of the proposal, and specified that any
additional comments on other matters will be considered outside the
scope of this public comment request.
Comments on the report must be submitted by May 26, 2016.
