Congress Enhances Hiring Procedures For DHS

On December 10, the House of Representatives approved the Border Patrol Agent Pay Reform Act of 2014,
part of which aims to improve hiring procedures and compensation
rates for cybersecurity positions at DHS and requires DHS to file
annual reports on these procedures. The legislation needs President
Obama's signature before becoming official.
