The Angel Capital Association's Annual Summit concluded today at the Convention Center in Philadelphia, PA.  It was a gathering of more than 600 angel investors from all over the globe (yes – the globe – not just the US).  Sessions discussed best practices for managing angel groups, trends in investment and syndication, deal flow and deal terms.

One of the sessions moderated by yours truly was a mock negotiation between an angel investor (Wayne Kimmel of SeventySix Capital) and an entrepreneur (Loren Danzis of Delaware Crossing Investor Group and Fox Rothschild).  The session's goal was to show beginner angel investors what they should know when doing due diligence and negotiating a deal for an investment in a potential portfolio company.  The session included both substance and humor and was featured on the well-known local technology website Technical.ly Philly.  I invite you to read more about this excellent event at the Technical.ly Philly website.
