Lewis Brisbois secured a favorable jury verdict for a defense client in an automobile accident case. The plaintiff was driving her car to work when she was struck by a tractortrailer insured by our client. She was severely injured and required multiple surgical procedures, remaining in the ICU for two weeks and a nursing home for four months.

At trial, liability was admitted. A final pretrial offer of $1 million was extended against a final demand of $4.6 million. After deliberation, the jury returned a verdict of $1,448,000.
