Lincoln Bandlow and David Aronoff were featured in The Hollywood Reporter article "Lincoln Bandlow, David Aronoff Jump to Fox Rothschild."  Full text can be found in the March 16, 2015, issue, but a synopsis is below.

Lincoln Bandlow and David Aronoff are now partners in Fox Rothschild's entertainment practice, working from the firm's Los Angeles office. The litigators focus their practices on intellectual property and First Amendment disputes.

"As our practice continues to grow and evolve and as the nature of our clients' needs changes in scope, we were looking for a bigger and national platform from which to serve our clients," said Bandlow. "Fox's coast-to-coast entertainment practice is just that platform."

Bandlow has represented clients including Morgan Spurlock and Conan O'Brien, clearing their material pre-publication to preempt libel suits. A Boston University law school alum, he has made The Hollywood Reporter's annual Power Lawyers list for the last three years.

Aronoff has been involved in some of the industry's highest-profile IP disputes. He represented screenwriter Aaron Berg when MGM contended he and Universal infringed on the James Bond franchise with the upcoming spy film Section 6  and he fought the copyright claims Warner Bros. and Radar Pictures fought over The Last Samurai.

They'll work in Fox Rothschild's First Amendment and Media Defense practice group, defending intellectual property rights and counseling on defamation and privacy law.

"We are very excited to have Lincoln and David join our team," saidDarrell D. Miller, managing partner of Fox's Los Angeles office and entertainment department chair. "Their first class entertainment practice and strong backgrounds in IP law and First Amendment work, will make them valuable assets to our clients across the country, our entertainment department and the firm at large."
