On September 30, 2015, President Obama signed a Continuing
Resolution to extend funding of the US government through December
11, 2015, and temporarily avoid a government shutdown.

The Continuing Resolution contained extensions for several
important immigration programs including:
- EB-5 Regional Centers
- Conrad 30 J-1 Physician Waivers
- Nonminister Religious Workers, and
- E-Verify.
These programs were continued unchanged until December 11,
2015.
