UK Serious Fraud Office Confirms Benchmark Manipulator Sentencing And Will Pursue Retrial Of Bankers For Benchmark Manipulation

On July 19, 2018, the U.K.'s Serious Fraud Office announced
that two former bankers that had been convicted of conspiracy to
defraud for manipulating the Euro Interbank Offered Rate (EURIBOR)
have been sentenced to a combined total of just over 13 years'
imprisonment. The SFO has also announced that it is going to pursue
a retrial of three other bankers for whom the jury could not reach
verdict
