This 16th edition of Deloitte's Technology, Media & Telecommunications (TMT) Predictions presents a fascinating array of trends, each developing at its own momentum, which will impact UK businesses in 2017 and beyond.
This year's TMT Predictions introduces a number of changes. For the first time we are including all three sectors together, and not splitting them, as we had done in previous years. This reflects TMT's evolution: with every year the overlap between these sectors has become greater, and multiple predictions are relevant to more than one sector. We have also included medium term predictions, looking out into the next decade.
The 2017 TMT Predictions looks at trends including the use of indoor navigation, the development of 5G, the rise of vinyl and the introduction of automatic emergency braking. Each will have an impact on both enterprise business models and consumer experience alike.
