With the Regulation regarding Amendment of the Regulation regarding Application of Industrial Property Law published in the Official Gazette dated 8 July 2019 and numbered 30825; in the case of

With the Regulation regarding Amendment of the Regulation regarding Application of Industrial Property Law published in the Official Gazette dated 8 July 2019 and numbered 30825; in the case of

  • Partial renewal of the trademark,
  • Partial or complete withdrawal of the trademark application,
  • Partial or complete withdrawal of the trademark,
  • Withdrawal of the opposition and opposition to the decision,
  • Withdrawal of geographical indication and traditional specialties and the audit responsibility,
  • Withdrawal of designs,
  • Partial renewal of multiple design applications which protection period has expired and
  • Withdrawal of the patent application or withdrawal of the patent right,

the obligation of;

  • Submitting a notarized signature declaration or its notarized copy, in case the requesting owner is a real person,
  • Submitting a notarized signature circular or its notarized copy in case the applicant is a legal entity

is abolished.

Furthermore, with the Regulation regarding Amendment of the Regulation on Application of Integrated Circuit Topography published in the Official Gazette dated 8 July 2019 and numbered 30825; the obligation to submit a power of attorney is abolished in the following cases:

  • To record the change of address, title or kind of an integrated circuit topography application or integrated circuit topography registration,
  • To transfer the integrated circuit topography,
  • If the rights arising from the application or registration of the integrated circuit are transferred by inheritance, to record this,
  • To record the license agreement,
  • To record the pledge regarding the integrated circuit topography,
  • To obtain a copy of the registration certificate.

Furthermore, in case of withdrawal of the integrated circuit topography application or registration; the obligation to

  • Submit a notarized signature declaration or its notarized copy (for real persons)
  • Submit a notarized signature circular or its notarized (for legal entities)

has been abolished.
