Banco Security has agreed to finance a portfolio of renewable
energy generation projects to be developed by the joint venture
between Building Energy and Scotta Group. The wind farms have an
estimated consolidated capacity of 30 megawatts and the financing
is USD 18.5 million. The closing of the operations included the
negotiation of contracts to support the sponsors of the debtor
companies, which were granted under Italian law. Jacopo Gasperi,
founding partner of Eptalex-Jglegal (Milan), Andrea Zoppi (Head of
Domestic Practice) and Cristina Knupfer (Head of
Internationalisation) participated as legal advisors to the sponsor
in Italy.
