DEAL BRIEF
Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia, one of the leading private
equity investors in Asia-Pacific, has acquired minority stake, for
a total consideration of USD 25 million (approximately), in ZCL
Chemicals Limited (formerly Zandu Chemicals Ltd.), one of the
fastest growing pharmaceutical companies in India, headquartered in
Mumbai and engaged in manufacturing, supplying and selling
specialty chemicals, advanced drug intermediates and active
pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs).
