The SEC granted an exemption from Exchange Act Rule 14e-1(a) ("Unlawful
Tender Offer Practices") to Adani Ports and Special Economic
Zone Limited, India's largest commercial ports operator. The
relief permits the company to keep its tender offer open for only a
"10-working day" period, in accordance with Indian
law.
