Campbells is pleased to announce the promotion of Liam Faulkner to Partner in our Cayman Islands Litigation, Insolvency and Restructuring Group.

Liam joined Campbells in early 2015, having previously trained and qualified with an international law firm in London. In 2012 he moved to a prominent offshore firm in the British Virgin Islands, where he gained extensive experience working predominantly on Madoff feeder fund litigation.

Liam has particular expertise in shareholder and investment fund disputes and advising companies, officeholders and stakeholders in distressed and insolvent situations. Liam also has an in-depth knowledge of the Hong Kong and wider PRC offshore market having worked in Campbells' Hong Kong office from 2016 to 2018. Notable instructions over the past 12 months include advising ABRAAJ Investment Management Limited and its joint provisional liquidators on complex issues following the collapse of the world's largest emerging markets private equity group. Liam is also an INSOL International Fellow (2017).

The addition of Liam to the partnership comes at a time of dynamic growth for Campbells' leading Litigation, Insolvency and Restructuring Group, which has been driven by increasing client demand and a series of high profile engagements.  Guy Manning, Head of the Group, commented "We are very pleased to recognise Liam's hard work and outstanding contribution to the firm.  His promotion is thoroughly deserved and further strengthens our market leading litigation, insolvency and restructuring team".
