At Butler Snow, Diane Pappayliou is a member of the firm's Tort, Transportation, & Specialized Litigation Group, where she has managed and served on litigation teams for complex civil litigation in state and federal court, including extra-contractual, insurance coverage, products liability, construction defect, professional malpractice, business and commercial, long term care and skilled nursing facility, maritime and admiralty, municipal, and transportation law cases.
Pappayliou has been recognized by North Carolina Super Lawyers® as a Rising Star for Insurance Coverage since 2022 and was previously named a Rising Star for Class Actions/Mass Torts in 2021. She was also recently recognized by Best Lawyers in America® on the Ones to Watch list for Insurance Law (2023-2025) and Transportation Law (2024-2025).
She is a member of the American Bar Association, the North Carolina Bar Association, the North Carolina State Bar, the New Hanover County Bar Association, the North Carolina Association of Women Attorneys Coastal Chapter, the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys and the Defense Research Institute.
